A war time like OFP: resistance but 1 where u can watch. Not sure about the actual movie itself but the genre would definatly be War.

Think about it a bit further and write it here. I'm sure we can find a team of interested cut-scene makers  ;)

I can write the plot and mayby the dialog for it. I was looking at the "Tears of the Sun" mod and the sniper looks gd, kinda like the guy ud want.

All we need is:
a camera scripter
an advanced mission editor
some1 who will watch the film over and over again to spot any mistakes

i have managed to make a basic camera script but itll take a while to dig up the mission.

look at the top of this thread to get some ideas:

http://www.ofpec.com/yabbse/index.php?board=22;action=display;threadid=15175

only a couple of threads down

Well have to decide some idea of what itll be and also some idea of the units used. I suggest using some of the best e.g. BAS Blackhawks

Its got to have alot of twists and things to keep sumone interested. It can't just be pure fighting all the way through. Its gotta have a story to it and has to be realistic, not sum cheesy rambo type thing. I think number 5 on that thread has alot you can use, car chases, raids, gunbattles.

I dnt really know much about the best units that are available but i think to make the best, you have to use the best.

I'd say more like a team of camera scripters. I made a short movie (20min) some time ago and know it takes A LOT OF TIME. Believe me you DON'T want to camerascript a movie by yourself, especially not a long one  ;)

I know, ive got a short 1-2 min film of possible characters. I only know basic camera scripting. Ive figured out the story.

An American squad are moving via chopper (blackhawk/chinook) and are shot down. A Rangers squad has to move in, find them and get them out, alive. I want to try and get this as realistic as possible so lets use the guys here

here
http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=5954
and the BAS Rangers

Just the basic outline. :D

We can go into deatil l8r when we get some more people to join.

Btw, if you are a camera scripter who knows "the ropes" then put a post on this thread and contribute your ideas. Constructive crutisim is ok as long as it is constructive. ;D

Well, if we are going to start to get this done were gonna have to
1. get as many people as possible who will work
2. Get an open disscussion up to get the ideas out

Heres the guys short clip of the guys we could use. Note you need
The ORCA Russian Paratroopers
BAS Rangers
Modern Infantry pack by hyakushiki from the Project:Battle Over Hokkaido
If you need links dont hesitate to ask. All can be found on

use the search utility.

Are you planning on building on one particular "main" character or are you gonna keep it as open as possible. I reckon building on one character would be good, seeing how he got to his position in the army and maybe quick "flashbacks" on what operations he's been on.

Make sure the opening of the film is exciting and action packed, nearly all war/action films start with an action filled 10 minutes or so. Try and make it memorable.
