I agree with Eviscerator.  In the heat of the battle, there's no time for reloading with the actionmenu after every shot.  I can't imagine why you would want it that way.  I think the Ithaca works very well.  If a pump-animation can be added that would be great.

I'm wondering, are you guys(SEB) working on anything 'Nam now, or still taking a vacation?  How about that missionpack, airpack and armor pack?  Have you begun working on it?

By switching textures we obtain new "camp soldier" unit, this basical method may allow to create ARVN troops (and much more). It could be nice even without new 3D work or textures.
SEB team, just think about it :)

Hey, great to see you again ;D

My first AddOn which I try to finish ;)

Some like it, some hate it. But a Gunship Huey is nothing against this Baby ;D

PS: That are SelectThis's textures from the CH-47 (only that noone say that I'm a thief :))

I think it could work. We just didn't have the time, and we needed to keep the main pack's size down. Aeon, if you wanted to take this up, I'm sure you would do a great job. I have nothing against other people doing things such as this. I think it could extend the life of this pack quite a bit.
If you're in a war, instead of throwing a hand grenade at the enemy, throw one of those small pumpkins. Maybe it'll make everyone think how stupid war is, and while they are thinking, you can throw a real grenade at them.

I don't want to use your textures and models to build an independant addon even if you give me permission : that will betray (y)our will of gathering addons in an unique pack. I just tried something and kept a screenshot to show you.
Anyway you made a great pack of addons that rule Vietnam mission, so nobody would use mine unless it would be a part of your pack. My previous post was just to give you an idea for your next update

I am curious, but I don't have time to look through all of the posts on this topic, have we figured out how to stop the random crashing that happens with the nam pack?

Random crashing: Boh.  Before starting OFP, ctrl-alt-delete in XP and select the "Applications" tab.  Then fire up ofp.  If you get a lock up, hit ctrl-alt-delete then Alt-E and enter.  Sometimes windows will even generate an error log. If you're feeling charitable, send them off to someone.
If you do this, you will never have to reset your machine due this bug. It's still there, of course.

A heads up for NP2 fans.

The whole SEB team is currently involved in a BAS project which "should" be released today. This has taken up alot of our time and means we have neglected our efforts on the Nam Pack additions. For this I am sorry. But after a short rest we will be back!

The major issue which I have seen with the Nam Pack is the lack of good aircraft followed by the lack of proper models for the armored vehicles. One great thing, and something Ebud highlighted earlier, is that there are some people making addons which would fit in very nicely with the Nam Pack. Over the next few weeks we will be contacting these people to see if we can get permission to incorporate these addons into the Nam Pack (Aeon, Bezzy expect some emails ;))

This will hopefully shorten the development time for the addons additions.

I'll keep you all posted as we progress this.
