Nice!

Will definitely get hold of that for UK units.  LSWs just don't do the job on the field (the weapon, not the addon!)

Yeah, LSWs are pants.

Pfrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr (expanded the tiny magazine)

Whereas "Gimpys" rock.

Having tested this baby I can definately say it rocks.  I haven't handled the real weapon or even heard it (that I can remember) but this, well throw away that M60...

I do know he is improving it even more....

LSW are better in some ways. :
1- a lot lighter
2- easier to handle
3- alot cheaper
4- easier to clean

GMPG has it good points
1- you can have a cup of tea while ur firing at the enemy if ur rambo obvioulsy
2- kick ass weapon

but it gives a hell of a kick back if ur not holding it correctly

LSWs still suffer from the many SA-80 problems.  Although the A2 is out now.

LSW is also oddly balanced on the weapon sling as it was designed for the SA80 - too much weight at the front.

Basically my point was that it "doesn't do what it says on the tin" effectlively enough.  It's light, it's a weapon, but it's not an efficient support weapon.

As for being light and having a substantial recoil....  better stop skipping Physical Training!  ;)

It's just not good enough to "keep heads down"! It's more like a really cheap, under powered sniper rifle. an unreliable one at that.

(The A2 has all of the old problems with the added frustration of a bigger C-Handle)

It's true, having handled the SA80, LSW, and GPMG, on ranges (SA80 on the SAT range, 'bout 1500rds in a morning :P - Flt Sgt will know what i'm on about)

I can say that the LSW SUCKS, its basically a heavy version of the SA80, no real improvement in range, maby accuracy, but other than that - hmmm.

I say, MAKE A GPMG!

It's a Mans gun ;)

This is a great add-on as there are quite a few countries that use it, plus it's an awsome weapon  ;D

Yea, Belgium uses it too (pretty logical seeing we developed it...) but even US forces use it on the bradley and stuff.
