Just been going through some of the old posts and came accross this:
I beleive it to be a Pinzgauer (http://www.pinzgauer.uk.com/)
whatever this is - i reckon its really needed for any kinda Kabul Patrol Missions as the para's used it a hell of alot.

It may be a Pinzgauer (Army designation Truck Utility Medium or TUM) as I've only heard of the SAS using the Merc Unigmog, and that was A Sqn in the Gulf. They had one as a command vehicle I think in the 110 column that they attack Victor Two with.

*stops scratching chin*

Went on the site, the ones with the Gympis and five-ohs look cool and would probably be good as support for Lilty's 110s, bringing in troopers, but I'm sure I could weld a few more pintle mounts on that bugger, maybe a 51mm mortar, a couple of Mk 19s, and a Milan tube too  ;D

Yep, I think this one confirms that Pinzgauers are in use there...

I'm not sure if its been mentioned before, but I really don't have the time to read through 23 pages of replys :)

Is is possible to make the textures darker? I think their a little too light atm.

Plenty of news, since joining the UK Forces mod I've been doing alot of detail work on the landy - the 110GS model poly count has gone up by approx 1000 faces, not much to see at the moment as it's still got the same textures on it, which are next on my list of improvements.
So far I've added/reworked the following parts:
Bonnet, bumpers, chassis, axels, wheels, rear view mirror, wipers, dashboard, steering wheel, exhaust pipe, lights, tow hook, tilt sticks and possibly more that I cant remember.

P.S.
The landrovers now have their own page on the Uk Forces site (http://www.concept-5.com/ukforces/)

Good work Lilty! I look forward to using the Pinkies to spread red hot justice in the shape of .50 rounds at those damned commies... even though I'm technically one myself  ::)

OFF-TOPIC:

How's about telling us your speciality for the RSF site? I need an excuse to add some more general crappery to it  ;D

There's nothing like a bit of .50cal justice  ;)
The pinkie is on it's way, just got to finish the 110GS base model improvements before chopping and changing it to make the long list of variants, the modeling is done, I've just got the textures to do now ;)

As for the RSF, how about drivin, killin,' and blowin sheeit up?  :D
Weapon: GPMG
Thinking of it when the next training sesh, I think it's about time I played OPF properly rather than just using it to look at and destroy landrovers  ;)
If I leave it any longer I'll loose my thousand yard stare ;D

*Edit*
Got a new statement too been as I now command troops:
"CHAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGE!!! OW OW OW OW, MEDIC!!!"

That's probably due to it having the fuel capacity of the BIS jeep and it weighing 3 times as much, I've got a list of specs somewhere that gives the actual fuel capacity and the range, although i don't think you can actually change the fuel consumption  :-\

As for next week I'll be there, gonna have to edit my player profile so I can have the face with the handel-bar moustache been as I now a Captain, ey what  ;)
