We would like to thank the Community for another great year of fellowship and fun. Whether through online play or the various other sources of communication, we have enjoyed sharing like interests with you and look forward to continuing the tradition of "By The Community For The Community".
We hope that you'll continue to support our values in 2012 with more great resources and of course, what site can survive without monetary funds? Happy holidays from all of us here at OFPEC!
After 3 months of testing and deliberation, our panel of judges have concluded their findings and tallied their scores to determine who this year's top three winners are in our Mission Editing Contest.
The Vault door for the Mission Editing Competition of 2011 is now closing.
OFPEC is currently running its second Mission Editing Competition. I thought I'd share this as an example of the quality of entries from previous OFPEC competitions.
Yes, that's right folks: OFPEC The Editing Center in cooperation with Bohemia Interactive Studios is officially announcing its next Mission Editing Competition! This contest will challenge editors to focus their skills on creating a fully immersive mission that draws the player in and leaves them thirsting for more.
There have been a couple of spammers who got through the barriers and left messages on the forum lately and while we're usually pretty quick to remove such stuff, occasionally the posts will stay up long enough for regular OFPEC members to see them.
I just noticed the Arma2.com web site has been hacked or is this some ploy by Bohemia Interactive? What gives? I doubt hackers would post beautiful screen shots and what do they mean by a stash is hidden somewhere? If you have the answers then please let us know!

Some upgrade work was done earlier this evening, resulting in more downtime than anticipated. Apologies to all those who were affected.
So far everything looks fine, but as always if you spot any gotchas, report them in the bugs thread.
OFPEC The Editing Center is looking to recruit a few good men.
The staff at OFPEC are dedicated to testing Community content, and while we've been around since 2001, we are determined to continue providing that same service for members who submit their resources here.
Our submission standards are higher than most, so that a solid foundation is constructed for thorough feedback. Without it, testing would become frustrating for everyone involved. Though individuals differ, we strive to remain professional to offer the most constructive feedback that we can.
That's where you come in.
