What path did you put the addon files into, and which files did you put, to get this to work in OFP Resistance 1.91? It won't show up for me.

I tried installing this new addon to my OFP Resistance 1.91, but it fails to appear under the "BAS Special Ops - Vehicles" menu. I've tried following the readme.txt file's instructions first:

Code: [Select]
"INSTALLATION
============
There are 3 PBO files in the zip file. Installation files are different depending on which version of OFP you are running.

**** 1.91+ ****
Put the following in your addons folder:
BAS_MH47E.pbo
BAS_MH47E_185.pbo"

No mention of the BAS_Cargo.pbo in the INSTALLATION section. Presumably that goes in the same folder as the two above files--but why is there even a file named "..._185.pbo", since the addon isn't compatible with OFP Resistance version 1.85?

I tried leaving out the _185 file; still no show.
Tried putting the two files they listed into the Res/Addons folder; still no show.

I notice their zip file has paths associated with these files; I tried unzipping them with folder names, as the zip file is set up to do, first. No show. I tried moving them out of that folder into the actual "AddOns" folders, as described above, after trying them unzipped into the folder that the zip file specified.

Does anyone here have any suggestions? I can't imagine why the darn thing isn't showing up. If it's a path prob, can anyone please explain where each file should be, and whether all 3 files should be there, or only 2 of them, and if so, which two?

BTW, I popped into the BAS chat on their web page, but no one appeared to see my questions. I can't tell if anyone sees what I'm chatting or not--there was no indication that anyone knew I was there. I don't know what "voice" is, but it's apparent that I am not allowed to ask for it, whatever it is.

It isnt in BAS Special Ops - Vehicles it should show up under BAS - Vehicles along with the bikes and kiowa's. The BAS Special Ops - Vehicles only contain the littlebirds I think from memory.

This will change with the Littlebird update, so that instead of using 3 different vehicle classes(Special Ops, Normal Vehicles, and Marines) we only use one.

ermmmm

how come if i set myself as group leader of a squad which includes the chook, and make us all 'in cargo' via the unit menu and then set the chopper to flyinheight 20, does it spin around like mad?

only happens when im group leader - it just spins until u tell it to go somewhere.

one last thing... was readin the readme (funny that) and saw u were talking about a possible zodiac to be added to the slung / in cargo list...

now, iw as wondering if it would be possible on BAS's side to be able to add a water entry option to the chook commands? as in the chopper will hover at the surface of the water (close enuff) and the men onboard are added into the zodiac which is then deployed into the water - or using the CoC swimming thing, let them deploy into the water and then get into the boat...

just a thought, since you do have some navy seals on the way or summit  ;D

Messiah, i had a simmilar problem to your spinning thing, I just kinda delt with it, figureing it was some kind of holding pattern scripted into the addon, try telling the chopper to engage at will, that might help, I also like the idea of the zodiac being able to slide out the back over the water (like in the Navy recuting commercials) that'd be a good idea, what do ya say BAS, I think that would be killer if you could manage that  ;)

I liked the chaff system when attacked by an AA missile, nice job with that, looks good too, I have one question, I didn't see anything in the readme about this but is it possible to enter in the on activation field commands to tell the AI pilot to hold position and to start the Fast rope, I assume there aren't cause you guys make pretty extensive Readmes (that I'm proud to say I've read every one  ;) ) but I'm sure this is something you could figure up,
Something like
Code: [Select]
Chopper1 execute BASHoldPOS1.sqm or something of the like

I dunno, 5 of 5 stars fine job

You could probably enter a boat by hovering over the boat and using the Hold Position command.

Do you have the BAS_Soar185.pbo addon too in your folder?
If not dl the littlebirds addon too and than it should work otherwise it is a problem of your pathing  ;)
Plus put all addons in addons folder not res folder ;)
