Are there any ships that actually fire? Because I haven't seen one before.

Yes you got

the pauk class
and a patrol boat

they can both fire
th puak class has got a automatic cannon which you would find on destroyers and frigates
and thjhe patrol boats has something simular to a valcun cannon
