Voice Manipulation
« on: 18 Mar 2003, 15:51:02 »
Say I wanted to use my own voice for characters in ofp, in what ways can I vary my voice so that it still sounds realistic.

ie pitch/tempo/modulation, any ideas?

Pitch will work to a certain point, +/- 2 semitones, before it starts to sound a litle cartoonish. I would skeep the outher effects, you can use time strech to change tempo if needed, but it will not change your voice characteristics very much.
Good voice acting is your best bet, i think...
