ideas for maps
« on: 22 Feb 2003, 19:25:42 »
i know there are a lot of skilled wrp editors but when you make a map its so large and most of it wont be used in mission if you just cut the size with a lot of detail and base the maps on real battles this post will apply mostly for ww2 mappers take a look at the normandy map its fab but not brilliant because of the sheer scale if you make maps surronding small areas were important battles were fought ie: carentan omah utah sword gold juno or small villages like villers-bocage tilly argentan and so on as a world war 2 fan of normandy id love to see these areas in detail in ofp its probaly hard work to make a map and i give all you mappers credit for it
