Mi-26
« on: 27 Aug 2002, 12:03:03 »
Has anyone thought of making a russian Mi-26 chopper.
According to the Guinness world records book ;D its the largest chopper around with a takeoff weight of 56 tonnes and a length of 40 meters. It can carry the same amount of soldiers that a C130 plane can or 80 strechers with wounded!!!
Cool huh?
That would definitly improve the East air arsenal.
(A Ka52 would be nice also)
I got a AK47 an RPG and a headache... Any questions?

Always nice to see near-finished models.
Not just a bunch of polygons, and the author saying: I'm working on [Insert Model Name Here], I don't know when it will be finished"

you know i was thinking with resistance, you can open the rear doors of this baby (ive seen it done) and also set an eject point (like on the chinook u can eject front and back) at the back and so the pilot has the option to open the rear doors and let the peeps eject

that would be cool.

Wow a nice big fat juicey target in a multiplayer game for sure! Imagine shooting down one of those babies with the whole of the opposing side on board!

Bring on the stingers!  ;D

The one that went down recently was carrying 126 soldiers if I remember right....that's almost a company of men...which is insane.

I heard that most of the men survived the crash, only to jump out of the wreck into a minefield....that's horrible. :-\
