How do I update the original game units so that they can use handguns?

Well I don't know what you mean caus if you have 1,75 everybody can have a hand gun as fare as I know.

No, if the model doesnt have the "beretta-proxy", then the handgun wont appear on the model.
Open O2 and slap on the beretta proxy.

I thord he was refering to the in game units.

Well, all the original units (ofcouse) support handguns, as you said.

But not all units (Addons for 1.46) have the handgun proxy.
