Another long and winding tutorial
« on: 16 Dec 2002, 01:01:15 »
Okay guys, I don't know if anybody read the tutorial for an Everon campaign by my brother and I, but we're in the process of writing a new one. Would anybody be interested in the new walkthrough we're going to do along the same lines for a "police campaign" style series of adventures? I say police campaign because it's going into wide usage now.

Thanks

Welcome back Happy S!

I remember that thread!  Lot's of good and very detailed ideas!    8)

I agree with LCD, I'd check it out!

Our mod might have some addons that you'd be interested in for such an idea as well...   ;)

Sounds good to me as well....
Someone needs to get going on a police campaign with all kinds of shiny new police addons for us to blow up ;)

When we were starting our Mod out we had planned on teaming up with a police Mod to keep the addons needed to play both campaigns minimal....

the police Mod could use our addons for Criminals, and we could use theirs in our Missions....

Hopefully a great tutorial will inspire someone to take up where Quicksilver left off on his NPD Mod.....

I look forward to reading it if you do put one out,  Gotta Know your enemy right? ;)

Kaliyuga  out   :dude:

I second . . . er . . . I agree with the previous replys. :D
I still remeber the Everon one, never got a chance to try it out myself, but it was still an awsome idea.

The last one was available in the Editors Depot. If you look for all tutorials you'll see ours with the name Integrity and Happy Sheep as the authors. It isn't finished at the end, as we never got around to concluding the diary. But all the rules, ideas, and various suggestions are there.

For those who wanted to know how it ended, the Everonians/Americans won (my brother) and the Soviets (myself) prompty fled.

http://www.ofpec.com/editors/tutorial_view.php?id=69

I then won Malden, and in the final of the three campaigns lost Kolgujev at the hands of a delta force unit that killed an estimated 700 men between them (5 guys).  >:(

Okay, should be done soon. Thanks for the interest.
