Helicopter transport

I'm after a vanilla helicopter transport script.

a) Provides pickup via Radio
b) Drops off at mapclick location.
c) Returns to base until next radio request.

Surely someone's written a standard script out there?

Hi there!

In fact there is, and made by BIS to boot! If you've played the campaign, I'm sure you're familiar with the helicopter transport option available there: well, you can do the same in your missions, via the Secondary Operations Manager module. Here's a thread on the BIS forums that describes it:

I've never used it myself (yet) but I'm sure you could get it to work nicely following the instructions there It's too bad the BIKI hasn't been properly updated with this, and it seems we haven't really talked too much about it here on OFPEC. If you can't get it to work, do ask, and we'll try to figure it all out!

I have tried it, but haven't got it working so far.

It's pretty complicated instructions.

If I end up working it out p'raps I'll post simpler instructions or a demo mission on the wiki.

have you got it working?

I found it quite annoying to call the radio again when you are at the desired location.
(you can't mapclick with it i think. you just put the pointer where you want and call the radio again)

It can do everything you listed and it's really easy to implement. Fantastic piece of content really.
