But it doesnt show up good at online :-(

basically, I have a ton of res bridge pieces going together, all of the ones in the water are great, but when it comes to the land area, it doesnt go to the right height....

but, what irks me is that it shows up fine in the preview in the editor... any ideas?

Different terrainGrid setting? Try setting the terrainGrid value in your init.sqs. This is generally not a good practise because it may force people with slower computers to use too high a setting. But try it to see if it is the source of your problem.
