We noticed a number of members have been using large images as avatars. While the forum software automatically resized them to the default 85x85 pixels for display, the large original still had to be downloaded which is a waste of bandwidth and processing power.
The forum will now refuse avatars larger than 85x85 pixels. Please resize your avatars to this size if you wish to use one. Avatars currently in use which are larger than the default size may be removed by staff without notice.
