OverviewI liked the background to the mission and it makes sense with the indirect approach strategy to tie up the enemies forces. Most mission just gives objectives but dont tell the player why this is important. The commanders intent, or if you like the purpouse with a mission is just as important as everything else IMO.
IntroIts serves its purpouse of telling the player how the situation looks overall in the war. Its not a cinematic masterpiece, but who am I to complain. (check out my submitted mission and you will know what I am talking about

)
BriefingIt is good, and clearly give out what is to be accomplished. You shouldnt excuse yourself for the helo script in the notes, it worked good enough for me.
The Generals marker is however present in the initial brief. I might also have missed to bring NVG´s for the medic in the equipment menu, I however cant recall that I saw any. A more detailed target pack should also have been welcomed, just a few lines that describes the target i.e how many boats, what type etc.
MissionI am being dropped out on a coastal plain without any real concelment or cover ( ever thought about dropping the player to the north of the town?) , nobody is shooting at me so I dont complain. I check the map and realise that I have two options, cross the road (that probably is used by RACS) or move along the water where I hopefully will be alone. I go by the water because its closest. Then the searchlights are spotted, and they effectivly light up my path. I put my men on halt and sneak forward in the shadows. Realising that this wont work I order my men to take out those lights. They are silenced and since intel only puts a small number of guards at the site I hope I am safe. A few bullets fly over my head followed by two RPG´s, slamming into their targets with devestating results. Then the firefight begins, and reinforcements just pour in. My silenced AK sucks at these engagement ranges so I pick up a M240 from a former owner, in turns I re-equipp my men with the guns that start to lie around in the sand. After 30 minutes I feel that the area is secured and its time to take out the boats...
I sunk two of them with RPG´s in the beginning of the fight in fear that they where to rebase as soon as they where thretened. That would be the real thing to do and really incrise the sneak factor for the mission. Ever thought about that?
Anyway, I sank the boats with satchels, handgrenades and a mix of AT weapons. My initial plan was to board one of them and use the 50´cal and sink the others. What is the reason for them being locked?
First job done, on to the next. The helicopter landed way of target initially, but then came back and off we went. We had lost some time in the takeoff because my rear guard was by mistake stuck in prone mode and took for ever to get aboard, but that was my mistake. We hurried to a good ambush site. I picked up two satchels on the ride, and generally worried over why we where travelling a helicopter straight through hostile indian territory.
We landed about two minutes ahead of the general. I set up my men in fireing positions while I went down and prepped the road.
When the general came the both jeeps went up in flame and gory explosions.
Back on the helo and up in the air back to base, and then a quick detour out to those nasty pilots. I didnt know what to expect, so advanced carefully to the site. Then I got briefed, went to the barn and with two bursts took out both pilots. Nice additional mission.
BugThe helo script is not bad, but the chopper refused to land one time but did so on the second try.
OutroIts not particular grand, but it gives the picture of what the RACS has to do becasue of ones actions. I would have skipped the second part of it, and instead used a shoot of a RACS column heading home from the front or something, with a better explaining text of the aftermath. But what do I know
(se above about own movie skills)OverallGreat mission

I fought a real battle around the boats, I scored 49 infantry kills in total during the mission. I was fearing an armoured reinforcment or at least that the boats would head out to see if I took to long in completing my first objective. That would be my suggestion to increase the realism/difficulty somewhat. Besides that and all above I have nothing to add. I spent 1 hour and 6 minutes, and I enjoyed every minute of them. Keep up the good work!
