Swordfish III addons
« on: 11 Apr 2005, 16:47:22 »
Yes I know its embarrassing that I haven't played all the top 10 MEC missions yet but that's not the point.   The point is that Swordfish III requires a bucket of addons and the readme points towards an addon pack that is, as you've probably guessed by now, "file not found".

Can anybody help?

Many thanks.

Good question about this add-on thing.
I have so many by now on my computer that I lost track long time ago.
Newer the less I can not play Swordfish III. I got the BAS Rangers (BAS add-on=quality add-on) so why should I download some STT rangers + a million zillion similar rangers-and-things-units-stuff-add-on's???  :-\

Thanks .pablo..    No it's not too old. I still want to play it and don't have the addons.    I used to, but had major computer problems and lost my entire addon collection.   Which, on balance, turned out to be a good thing but it has left me out on a limb once or twice.

I was indeed a judge in the MEC but only in the early stages.    I played a large number of missions but it just so happened this wasn't one of them.     Sadly I wasn't able to participate in judging in the late stages, partly because of time pressures but mostly because it turned out I'd beta tested at least three of the last ten.

No I don't think it's worth your time either, it's easy, it's boring, it's buggy. I still have no clue why this won the MEC. Go play Everon transport instead.
Get those missions out there you morons!
