I was thinking that artillary may not be built into the OFP engine, but some artillary pieces can still use direct fire. Like this Russian Rocket Launcher.

I'm thinking the ammo could use the grenades characteristics, and the model of a rocket to simulate the arching effect an unguided rocket has.
