Its a bizzar idea but why not ;D Like the ones the u.k army use, and others

You could use the APC class to make it go on land and water

However there may have to be alot of fidleing to make it go fast on water

It's just an idea I have been thinking about....   Has it already been done? If so can someone give me a link

i like your idea
the navy seals use them for special ops
i'm not sure if the apc class will go fast enough though
have to check that one

the apc class will go fast enough, its just the speed it will go in the water that will bring the addon down.

I think that's what they mean  :P

Somone realesed a "Zubr" class hovercraft awhile back... it was counted as a boat, though.
Not a very good addon, anyways.

It's possible to test for a vehicle over water (check the OFPEC function library) and give it a velocity boost, when it is. So you should be able to make the transition from land to water without loosing speed.

Or, a slightly messier way, check if it's over water, if so, replace it with a boat configed version, and move all people/ammo from "land-hovercraft" addon, to boat one..

If I remeber, that Zubar thing didn't work on land..
