I need a quick learning and easy learning tutorial

i need a quick and easy learning tutorial on how to retexture vehicals, why, cause i'm going to make about 4 different desert m1a1's for desert storm,

like 3 armd. div., 2nd armed cav. reg., 3 armd. cav reg., and 1st infantry div.,  

Some one please tell me where i can get the tutorial, and make sure it is in english.
