A Lack of Resistance Causes Problems...

I don't have Resistance, and I can't find anywhere to get it. I also have a struggling 56k Modem. Basically, I can't play any of the addons I download after spend 5-10 minutes of my time downloading it! Is there ANY way of allowing my version 1.46 to play those 1.90 etc addons??? HELP! I love this game, but I would like a few new guns please. Like the FN-FAL and the FN-P90, etc.

No. You can change the requiredversion class in an addon config, but this only works with old, crappy addons for Resistance.
