Pics in briefing/overview problem.
« on: 30 Jun 2004, 16:59:47 »
I'm honestly not sure where to put this topic but I think this board is ok. Anyway, are there any screenshot resizing tools or something because if I take a screenshot and make it smaller it just messes up. I'm not sure how to go about using pics in the overview and briefing. Please help.

Thx in advance.

This is the right place for this question.

There are some useful tutes in the Ed Depot about this - make sure you've read them.  (By fishion and snYpir I think)

The ideal final format for the picture is .jpg.    How you take the screenshot and what you to it is entirely up to you - any graphics programme should do the trick, but I too have had trouble finding a decent (free) one and would like to know if anybody has any suggestions.    (There is no specific ofp tool for this.)

You have to remember that good overview pics have a small scope:  usually a maximum of three vehicles or units and often fewer.    Panoramic shots rarely come out very well.    Look through the BIS single mission pics to see the kind of thing that works.

Plenty of reviewed ArmA missions for you to play
