O2Light Vehicle layers help wanted
« on: 21 Sep 2002, 17:02:53 »
Hi.

Ok, now I'm a master of inanimate objects.  My crates, m16's and buildings are fine.

Time for some interesting work.  VEHICLES.

As a sample, I opened a premade vehicle addon and much to my horror I found from about 10 different layers.  Base, geometry, fire(something)..etc...  Now I'm sure they are all important, but I haven't seen any reference made to what layers do what, and what level of complexity(detail) is required by each.  Some are just a few rectangles.

I'm hoping someone out there understands what is needed to put a vehicle into OFP.

If you know, I'd be mighty grateful.  I'll even offer to collaborate and type up a vehicle tutorial.

Thanks

Its not complete but I built a beach buggy in about an hour with the information contained within it.

Tells you what all the LODs are.

Also look here for a list of Czech names and their english translation
