Hi, again.

When i put titletext into my cutscene it sometimes comes up, sometimes doesn't and sometimes it comes up for a second and the disappears. It's very bewildering and very very annoying.

Any ideas?

Remove 10 and replace it by 2 or 1 or something like that.

Sorry Real Armstrong but do you mean after the "PLAIN DOWN" bit?

Well I did that anyway and the text appears quicker and therfore is visible longer. However it still disappears after about 2 seconds. So even with your idea implemented I am still only getting text for a 2 seconds before it disappears again.

I use titletext without a number at all.  Works fine.  I think the text stays up about 10-15 seconds.

No, That didn't work either, I got an invalid number in expression error.

Let me explain in more detail.

Ok, I have a guy called VC Recon, hiding in some bushes.  The cutscene cuts to him, and stays put. A car drives past him and he radios a message back to whoever. Now. The radio message works fine I hear it as normal. It's the text which I have put in the "introcam.sqs" which is the trouble. As the sound is heard the text should appear at the bottom of the screen to accompany it. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it appears for a split second the vanishes again.

The next glitch comes again with the text. Only this time it vanishes as a trigger activates a switchmove or the cutscene moves to a different camera angle.

The fade-in time for the text does not enter into it.

I have tried to use the text in te editor via triggers but again I encounter the same problems of it disappearing not appearing etc.

Please oh, please help me out.

this is what it should look like:

titletext ["Ya friggn text here!", "PLAIN DOWN"]

I have also noted that in this line:

titletext ["VC Recon ~ Two Westerners driving your way.","PLAIN DOWN",10]

there is only 2 secs untill a new titletext is created, which will remove the previous one.

I changed the Titletext to Titlecut.

Now it works a charm.
