A BIG mission full of women
« on: 25 Oct 2003, 20:50:52 »
sry, no women but i need someone to read this :)

I'm making a mission with BAS stuff that has lots and LOTS of detail as in events.  Its very realistic as in it has alot of crap that can go wrong and that's what i need help on.  It's not like some wierd rambo crap, it's all logical and realistic.

Delta Hawk,

OFPEC doesn't support advertising. Please check the Recuitment Depot if you're looking for a team.

And btw, stealing tricks from Sui? Baaaaaad! :P

Hate to say it, but Armsty's right
If you are looking for assistance, please, by all means, go to the Recruitment Depot

This did happen before, but not as subtly...
I think it got everyone's attention in one way or another

i'm not recruiting, i just needed to ask someone smart where to get a certain kind of script, you know, since this is the mission ideas board and logically you would discuss missions here.  right?

And whats sui???  I never heard of "sui"  Sounds like some Japanese fish.  kind of rude Armstrong when you automatically assume things.

Sui is a moderator here at OFPEC.  If you are looking for a script, I suggest the Editor's Depot.  If you can't find it there...go to the Editor's Depot section of the forums.  You will surely get help there  ;)

* Sui puts on a kimono

Komban wa Minasan ;D

I don't think I smell bad enough to be a fish... though I certainly try!

Armstrong was referring to one of my beta testing threads, where I promised free pr0n in the title ;D
It kind of backfired, as it ended up with notifications being blocked by people's email filters... that'll teach me for trying to be funny ::)

As far as 'realistic' events go, I suggest looking at official US military sites. They may provide a bit of insight into tactics, hence things that have potential to happen... it'll require a bit of legwork, but make a mission that much more authentic in the end...

Yes, what Max said.

Some people know some good military sites

Anyway, it would be great if people would stop tricking us like this, like Max just pointed out.

Sui, what were you thinking anyway!? Offering porn on OFPEC :noo:? You should be ashamed :). You as well Delta Hawk ;).

Now, if i said jenna Jameson, that would be different. lol

Grim monkey, what's worst, people who advertise porn, or people who look at it?  See what i'm saying...

U silly guys, only if u knew i had "Military Nerd" tattooed on my butt.  HA HA HA, realistic military events, internet sites...HA HA HA  Since this is a mission ideas...Like Africa is (unforntunately), mass ethinic cleansing is happening on tonal by rebel troops under General Muhammad Azul.  American Marines go in for peace keeping and POLICE ACTIONS, not war.  GPS imaging, however, reveals a ZU-23-2 placed near a harbor, which clearly defies International laws and could be used to hender America's effort to restore peace.  A six man Green Beret team is sent in via MH-60K with a AH-60 escort to gain control of gun and render it useless.  AH60 can not do anything due to the threat of use of AA gun.  No can do with airstrike because gun is place near a civilian building.  America entered tonal under Rules of Engagement, so do not fire unless fired upon, which is simulated.  Three elements, assault team 1 (GB team), raven escort (insertion helos), and command (command LZ, AWACs, CSAR, OH58s, Marine helo to refuel, ets)  Marines are also standing by for quick deployment if mission gets f*cked.  plus, millions of ways the mission can get f*cked...how real is that?  I post this here because i needed advice for making it, not planning it.  I think i will stop by the script depot too.

Right, i know this isint the time or place, but it has to be said
 :)
Just a tip, Delta Hawk  8)

Whenever you write stuff here at OFPEC, break it up with lots of indents, new lines and smilies, :) and add a marquee etc...

:gunman: '  '  '  '  '  '  '  '  '  '    :hmm: ("Hmmm, can i hear somthing")

I mean i may just be a crazy 86 year old fool, (no joke, i'm the oldest scripter going :beat:) thats just broken out from a mental asylum, but....

Picture the situation...

Your sitting there roaming around OFPEC, (Greatest (leagal) site in the world)
You open a thread --- trying to help some one

AND WHAT DO YOU SEE, but a 200 line solid piece of hardcore, unadulterated chuncky text.

Now i don't know about you, but i can barly stay awake selecting this site in the favorites bar,   :beat:

AND when i see a chuncky piece of text like that, i slip into a comma for several days.  :)

So.. Well you see what i mean

The mission itself sounds very simple and excellent at the same time.  I like it.  If only more people thought up missions this way.  Storming a friggin cannon, genious.
