unit texture editing HELP!

i have been looking for this tutorial but cant find it. maybe im stupid or maybe it doesnt exist but can someone tell me where to find a tutorial to edit the texture of a unit?

all i want to do is change the armpatch of a certain unit that i already have. i dont know how hard this but im assuming its a pretty quick fix.
