OFPEC Staff match

One thing I think, not only would b entertaining but also funny.  ;D

All of the OFPEC staff have a HUGE multiplayer match. Have teams like:

The Ed Depot Team
Global Moderator Team
Forum administrator team, etc

OR

Get a team of willing forum regulars and make them fight the moderators in an MP Team Death Match or CTF

lol I don't do much MP but I'm up for it.  

Since we're a global site somebody - either the europeans, the americans or the asia/pacificians - is going to have to get up early.     If it's, say, 5am in San Francisco its 8am in NY, 1pm in London and midnight in Wellington.

So, it'll be on the weekend then.

Well im on holiday from 8/8, I'll try and take me laptop wit me!! If u do it while im away, tell me the results or post them. hey, perhaps we cud do this every holiday? Get custom santa faces for the matches at christmas, and one team must steal the presents. The others have to stop them!!

I like the idea a lot and it actually has been discussed before, back in the Wolfsbane days. At that time there were some games where some of the staff participated, but not as a tournament or anything like that.

the weekend starting on 8/8 is not good for me (you'll get the reasons later  ) but if someone actually takes up the challenge and tries to organize this I'll be sure to teamkill some of these OFPEC staff pussies  ;D

OK, the match is gonna be this weekend 3/4 August.

I suggest a time of 15:00 (3pm) London time.      Given that we have folk from all over the world it's going to be late/early for somebody.

Which suits better, Saturday or Sunday?

I dont' know anything about MP so somebody else will have to organise the map we use, server, password etc etc.

I don't think it really matters which type of map we use as long as it lends itself to two teams.     We should use the opportunity either to test an advanced beta or review a MP map which is pending in the missions depot.    Kuro, Cap'n Winters and Artak are reviewers so they could decide which map and one or all of them could write the review afterwards.

All members of OFPEC are welcome to join in but you must express an interest in this thread first.   The password will be posted here.

Depending on who's playing we'll work out the teams on Friday.    It's all just a bit of fun so it doesn't really matter. Possibilites include:

Members v Staff
Addon makers v Mission makers
Noobs v Old timers
LCD v The rest of the world

Finland (where I am) is at GMT+2. which would make it 17:00. which is good.  

Saturdays, Sundays, they're all the same to me, but I have a feeling that Syndays are always the 'boring' days with nothing else to do than edit your maps  :-X

The map thing is difficult, sense we want to get the map reviewed at the same time it should be something from the pendings list. However, the map should also be of some entertainment (i.e. not a crappy one) and if you take a look at the ones I've reviewed lately you propably won't find anything over the score of 4. In addition to this there's always the addons problem. So the mission should be

pending
entertaining
with less addons the better
