And I trust there will be assorted goodies such as mounted machineguns, automatic grenade launchers and such on these babies :)

I prepared a reply about how a Pinkie doesn't neccesarily have to be pink, but Lilty beat me to it  :-[

Will there be Dinkies (SAS Defender 90s) too?

Not unless anyone knows of any pictures of them, besides their mention in Bravo Two Zero I've never seen any pics or mention of them.

I've no pics, but I have read that they get occasional use (lighter and smaller than a pinkie, perfect for chucking out of a Hercules, perhaps). I can imagine them being pretty similar to the pinkies. But shorter, of course  ;)

i think to make a gud sass addon they should b split up into there differnt sections boat, mobilty, air and mountain. The solders clothes should not look alike boat troop troopers should have dry suits and should be able to have rigid raiders. Air troop should look like sky divers. Mobilty should have there pinkys and mountain should look as though they r expert mountani climbers etc. Sorry if this is not explained very well but hopfully u will get the what iam saying

I'd be happy to get a SAS trooper that looks like an SAS trooper. I hate it when people make addons with them wearing their berets or that great big baggy balaclava that the black ops came with. The only thing worse than that is putting one of those SA80 toys in their mitts instead of a 203.

ok...here goes......my knowledge of SAS weaponry and uses

HK MP5-SD3/SFA2

MP5-SD3 - variant of the standard MP5 equipped with a silencer and retractable stock
MP5-SFA2 - Solid stock MP5 - no silencer
MP5-A3 - Basic MP5 usually equipped with torch used a lot by SWAT
All of the above used in stealth, Night-time and indoor missions

Combat shotgun, nothing too fancy
^used solely in indoor missions/combat

M-16 - usually equipped with environmental scope (i.e normal day time nighttime IR)- used in outdoor missions where stealth is impossible

ill add more as i remember it lol
pics of the mp5's included d/l the zip
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
and also the SAS are highly trained in the art of stealing the dead guys weapon, and being very efficient at it
i think he means being able to pick up an ak47 that one of their enemies dropped and handle it as well as a standard SAS weapon (m16, mp5, whatever)
but in ofp that issue never really comes up
but there are just so many things wrong with that line, it could mean pretty much anything
yeah i meant that  lol, the SAS only pick up a weapon if they think its suitable, if not they dont take it, but if they do take it, they usually dump thier own weapons.......that is of course, only on missions that it doesnt matter that the enemy knew where they were from or that they were there.
