I'm thinking  starting a Private Military Compan MOD
i'm currenltly doing some simply addons
flags, images, a converted BAS Mh 47E (all due credit will be given)
basically this is mercinary service called Spenc International plc.
they operate on two levels

special force (british Special forces standard)
SAS style, providing intel and convert missions for countries that do not have the money or experience to run a full time special forces outfit (are also used for main spenc force)

standard force (rangers/Royal marines standard)
operating in single battles not wanting to get bogged down in war, company scale operations at the most.

i should also mention that spenc international is an entirely fictional company but operates within the limits of todays technology and the modern political thearter

 I like the idea ....   we were planning on using some Mercs in our campaign so it could really come in handy ....

That would be pretty cool. What are you thinking about in terms of standard rifle, light machine gun, etc.?

well i dont have much time so unless i see some more interest i'll prob just jack it in

but will prob do something even if it's use different units and make slight adjustments like adding patches, i dont see the point in working on something that has already been done, when you could be working on something else, of course all credit will be given

i only really know british and US guns but i was thinking the best from alround the world

some history on what i imaged spenc international to be like:
-five bases - spenc London - officers and Anti terrorist unit for europe
                  - spenc Los Angales - operates in south amereica
                  - spenc Athens - operates in middle east and north africa
                  - spenc cape town - operate in southern africa
                  - spenc cairns - operates in asia

- ethically based, will only fight for somebody if generally regarded as the 'bad guys'
- most of it's funding come from coniscating drugs money which western governments let them keep in return for the intel they provide.
-also imployed by western government to act were if they used their own forces would result in controvousy or aginast public opinian

spenc is a multi national company and deals in any form of legal currency or stock(eg. oil diamonds) although it preferres British £ as it's HQ is in London,
it will not fight for any one or angaints any one if it would piss off a major western government or a government of a country it has a base in, coz well basically it doesn't want to piss them off

not nessessary it will work for any one that it regardes is in the right
this does not nessessarily mean only US and allies
it is restrained by the governments it is based in so sometimes influenced
alot of the work they do is against terrorists in countries that can not afford their own specialist anti terrorist squads

I read an article a while about some mercs based in London, who were ex-servicemen (paras, marines etc).

They seemed fussy about who they worked for.

It was during the height of the war in Bosnia, and these guys refused to work for the Serbs, even when offered quite a sum money.

The reason I metioned this, is to point that this MOD is not far from realism at all. I think it sounds like a great idea.

BTW will you be releasing any stuff, or will you be using other peoples addons?

for most of the units i think i will use exiting model but change textures

Kaliyuga - i would love to see by men in you campaign, i dunno if you would be able to find a use for goody mercs, if you would like to use them give us a shout

-spenc mh47e (bas model and textures, with changed US army texture, oh and i fixed the wall for the pilots cabin)

-spenc desert pilot,(bas soar pilot, with bas textures for helmet and webbing, but rest changed)

- spenc pheonix soldier (speciel forces unit, bas floppy hat ranger with all new textures)

-ASF terrorist but on east side so that resistance can fight terrorists

You have just de-faced the Queens Union Jack and it looks remarkably simular to the Australian Navy Flag. Only the stars are rearranged differently and the colour is red instead of blue. Sorry that's beer talk at 3 am in the morning, but the troops look cool

no i have defaced the queen's union flag it is (should) only called a union jack when flown from the jack (foward flag pole of a ship)

the reason it looks alot like the white ensign and aussie flag is coz they're my favorite flags combined together, and aside from the fact that it is very similar to these two its a great looking flag there will be other versions with different national flags in the corner depending on which base the detachment flying it is from
