What is "everything"? You need 16-bit, mono .wav files.

have you got Win Xp mr.devil.

Everything means all that is supposed to be done before it, also, does wavetolip actually open to a screen like usual, or is it drag and drop?  ???

It is drag and drop. A .lip file may be created in the original wav's folder. And my nick's SeAnVeR, just I didn't know what to put there, and I put TAsmanian Devil, I think I have to change it to avoid misunderstandings :P

No, i don't have it. I'm afraid of strange windows, I use and I'll use forever win 98, it isn't the better at all, but I know it, I know how to deal with it  :P

* Sui comes into the thread with a dramatic flare

I've got XP! :D

This is how I got it working (I have never had a problem with the bloody thing ;))
  • Put the wav2lip.exe file in a directory called wav2lip (note no spaces)
  • Copy the .wav file into the same directory (C:\wav2lip)
  • Drag it over the wav2lip.exe. No window pops up, it takes about half a second, and then there's a .lip file in the same directory
  • Put the .lip file in the missions/sound directory... and I'm away laughing
  • *Pause for laughter*

Simple as following those 3 steps... hang on.. 5 steps? I'm sure there were less than that when I did it...

Anyway, It's as easy as falling off a log, no need to over complicate things ;D
