How do I scroll along Error messages
« on: 03 Nov 2010, 19:10:42 »
...to read what the h*** they're saying???  >:(

It's so annoying when it says ERROR: (and then gives you a long line of code).
How am I supposed to know what the error is if I can't see it?

If there isn't a way, could anyone volunteer suggestions as to how to be able to understand the error every time?

Thanks.

If you have DXDLL installed you can take a screenshot and then read it at your leisure. Perhaps it displays more of the message if you use a higher resolution? Hopefully it quotes enough of the line of code for you to find it.

You might also like to consider trying OFP Mission Development Environment by Ruprt (it is also included in the mod CSLA II). I haven't gotten into the habit of using it myself, but it is capable of spotting some coding errors.
