Personal pictures are back!

Personal pictures are now enabled! ;D

Set your personal picture by going to your profile (click on the profile button in the nav bar below the site banner) and setting the check box and url where it says 'URL to personal picture'.

Please keep your personal pic small so that it doesn't chew too much bandwidth.

Please note that we are not hosting avatars due to server load.

Staff avatars will be probaly not be returning - due to the huge number of staff categories we have now.

Sorry, but yes it does have to be a url. I would like nothing better than for your image to be uploaded to our server and hosted for you, but unfortunately the huge server load we already experience prohibits this.

You'll have to hunt around for free web space on the net, and upload your image. :-\

 *first post on the OFPEC forums since the new forums came up*  

I have seen alot of questions asking 'How to turn your Avatar Pic into a URL.' (Now here is where my skills come in - Webmaking) A good Small FREE Host is www.netfirms.com .

Their really good. I made a website about 2 years ago on it, and it's STILL up. I guarentee you that it will stay up for a long time.

Most ISP's also offer some sort of free webhosting as part of the whole 'being a customer' thing.

So it could be worth looking in that direction as well for webhosting.
