fadesound buggy

the on and off volume is annoying me, is there a way to change the volume over time and to a certian level effectively.

i've gone as far as from 0 fadesound 0 then 20 fadesound 0.1  but it just instantly sets to full volume

I don't understand what you want to achieve do you want the sound fade out or fade in? I had sometimes some weird results using the fade sound command. To avoid troubles I would already fade in/out the sound in the soundeditor your using. It's the only work around I know.

the fadesound command also changes the sound of the area, like the birds, rain and gunfire.  only the safesound command is not working that well at this.
Campaigns are hard, I'll stick with scripting for now!
