Veichle with track and frontal-steering wheels?
« on: 14 Oct 2002, 14:06:59 »
HI all,
I have a great problem:
I'm doing an American WWII M3 Halftrack (or m22 or m24: they have all the same chassis) if you want to see how it was go here http://www.kithobbyist.com/AFVInteriors/m3gmc/m3gmc1.html

The problem is that if i config it as a tank the track works very fine but the frontal wheels does not steer, instead if i config it as a normal vehicle the frontal wheels work fine and the track stops.

How i can solve this problem?... a guy that helped me so far (he knows a lot about Ofp) said it's impossible to do what i need. I think his words are right but i don't want to belive them i can't beleive, i have the addon quite ready and i can stop now :)....

I had also an idea.. i could declare the wheels as a Rpm or speed indicator but this mean that in ofp must exist a steering indicator.. something that can rotate when the driver turn. But from what i seen a such possibility does not exist :(

Please help me... i can't sleep in these days :)
If you want you can contact me on icq #133417492 or by mail ciecato@email.it

P.S.: did you seen my kubelwagen? Think that the m3 will be more and more  fine. So please help me to compleate it...
