Gday guys.. (and blackblood)

Now that ive tried the DKM UK vehicles..
I cant wait to implement your troops to them...

It a shame PUKF units werent in desert textures too    :(

All that is needed now for a good desert UK force is the Gazelle and Puma chopppers retextured.. (from OFPfr??)

Hows things coming along with units BB??

MadAussie out...

Ive noticed by the amount of views that this thread has had obviously means theres a lot of ppl out there in dire need of a good British desert soldier...I'd love to know how blackbloods gettin on.And with the new DKM Uk pack in desert colour means we need them more than ever.....

Looong time no see, people. Been busy as a beaver working on version 1.0.
Just wanted to share some new info and lifesigns...
Every unit now has an option to roll down their sleeves for people not liking the weird wrist issue (floating and stretched). I've done a serious workaround based on Ebud's wristmodels and the problem IS fixed but itÂ's virtually impossible to make it perfect. If you don't follow, picture yourself a shapable balloon, twist it by the middle and you get the bottleneck effect...

Animated goggles for everyone.
The sniper model is coming along nicely.
I've added two new classes: UK Sniper (rnd.), UK Soldier (rnd.).
They're the only scripted units in the pack (Init handler) and will grant you an automated randomised appearance unit choosing from these variables:

Hat / No Hat --- boonie
Hair / No Hair --- adds extra hair volume if No Hat option is chosen
(if Hair is chosen : RED, BROWN or BLONDE)
Bergen / No Bergen
Elbow pad / No Elbow pad --- Not very regular but this is a game, right?
Knee pad / No Knee pad ---  (see the above)
Long sleeve / Short sleeve
Headset / No Headset
Gasmaskpouch / No gasmaskpouch

...and finally some progress pics...
Thanx for your patience, guys!  :P

Hi,

Those desert units look excellent. I would like to use the model and textures of the personal radio and headset for a follow on pack for the Lowlands Warrior units, it beats my attempt at it by far. Your original authorship will be fully credited ofcourse.

Regards,

Sander

@zandhaas
The BETA version of the radio/headset is very blocky.
The current unreleased version is smoothed out and retextured and comes in two versions (fixed on beret and without).
I suggest you use that one when it's released . Always nice to share in this cruel world... ;D
