names of ingame music files
« on: 10 Jul 2003, 03:22:38 »
Hi all

I can't seem to find a listing of the names of the music files that come with the game.

I want to call them in a dynamic script so that certain events will play music (either russian march or bugle for US) can anyone let me know where I can find the names that I should call.

I've searched the forum but it's all about custom music. I'm not interested in that.

Well... they way I do it is whenever I want to find the name of an effect (music or voice called using a trigger), I place one in mission with that effect selected and save the mission.

Then using a text editor (wordpad or notepad), I open up the mission.sqm file and find the entry for the trigger.
Down the bottom there will be an 'effects' section. The name of your music (or voice file) should be listed in there ;)

Just what I was looking for.

Are you big on MP games of OFP

I'm putting one together at the moment and I could use some feedback on my ideas so far.

Find the thread at this location.
