Review by Mitrokhin
As I mostly review MP missions this mission took my interest. I have played part 1 of this series but part 2 remains a mystery to me. This part 3 is quite complicated and it took a while to get through.
WARNING: MISSION NOT FOR NOVICES.
The briefing was very straight to the point and also mission 'tips' were added in the notes. It used markers and the briefing had links to the markers. Different font in the briefing added to the effect. Also, it had a good choice of weapons.
The mission used a range of radio dialogue, which helped you in some parts. The camera was used well and used when needed.
The respawn was to the next available player (so you have to be careful). Most bugs were taken care of and the creator stated this in a readme file included with the mission.
Like I said at the start, this mission is not for novices, there is a lot of teamwork involved (despite that fact I had no team at all, just the damn A.I). I tried a few times and then about six times, eight, twenty. And finally I completed it, but not with ease.
The mission was good all-round I would say, but as I keep saying it was hard and maybe too hard in some places. I am considering an 8 for gr8ness. (BAD JOKE WARNING).
(Review Date: Dec 2002) This is another Whoop - Ass mission and I am proud to present it with:
Mitrokhin's Whoop Ass Award©
This mission isn't a CS-type mission at all (and thank God).
*Mitrokhin apologises and hopes no offense was taken by the people who do like Counter Strike, and the fact that Mitrokhin doesn't.
