Overview

Custom picture and five words on page one doesn’t really get you excited. Page two has the author’s name and contact details. Page three has hints that should have been on a separate page of the briefing.

Intro

The Intro shows you taxiing alongside the runway. Don’t you just love the ‘esc’ key?

Briefing

For a mission with only one objective the briefing was adequate.

Mission

Are you a budding pilot? Think you can take on the world with an A10? Well this mission is short, difficult and … well … that’s about it.

Removing half of the anti-air and adding more objectives would make this mission good. But as it is, you will find yourself saying… WHY?!

If shot down, you can radio alpha for chopper evac. There are lots of ways to get a chopper to come to you, land and return you to base. The method used by the author, I feel, is simplistic and messy.

A little more work on areas like this make the difference between an average mission and a great mission.

(Review Date: May 2002) If you just love to fly and have good fitness for the jog back to base then download this and enjoy all 5 – 15 minutes of gaming.

And yes, you can complete the mission without being shot down.
