Well written text combined with a bordered picture and mission title. The picture is a bit too wide and looks as if overstretched. Furthermore, version number and the author's name could have been added.


A battle is shown in moderate fashion, the camera shots could have been shorter and more diverse. If your PC is outdated, missing textures and slow camera movement are unavoidable due to the amount of soldiers and urban setting shown in the beginning. Briefly, the events leading to the upcoming mission are shown accompanied by a text lacking voice-overs.


Plenty of information is available in the plan section of the briefing. It gives you more insight in the events preceding the operation in which you will be involved. Additionally, the notes offer you a guide on how to use the radio to direct the chopper. All the objectives are clear and links are present with working links to markers on the map. The map gets updated when required and isn't too crowded. A comprehensive weapon selection is present and your group consists of several expert marksman to aid you in darker times. There are hardly any typos and errors in the briefing which make it a joy to read. It could use more information for info fanatics and possibly an image.


The mission is longer than average thanks to clever mission engineering by the author. To reach destinations across the island, there are a few handy radio options which help in controlling the chopper that is available to you. The difficulty is average thanks to the length of the mission as there aren't many patrols and groups of reinforcements to make your life hard. A lack of patrols thus allowing for easy insertion is a problem. Reinforcements move in and can be a pain if you don't use your teammates properly. A few minor issues are present, for example the chopper lacks weapons and has limited ammo. The general doesn't move enough when harassed. But these are covered by a working mission with enough attention spent on detail like the civilians present in Gulan for example.


A simple outro showing the response of the enemy after the competition of your mission. The scenes are a bit too long and unit setup is somewhat easy, although the texts accompanying the scenes are alright.


The number of objectives and thus the length of the mission is above average. And I like the easy to use chopper radio system, works pretty good and helps to complete the mission and make it more replayable.


From what appears to be a simple mission a lot more will develop allowing you to sit at the edge of your chair for a long time depending on your skills and used tactics. The cutscenes needed more work, but overall this mission is enjoyable - a simple long mission.
