The debate of whether one should select an easy to download script or go for an easy to implement addon will probably continue forever. Luckily you don't have to choose this time. When it comes to opening the non-functioning doors of the C-130 Hercules you can do both.

According to Norrin, the main benefits of the opening doors are cosmetic ones: "Other than adding some eye candy to the game there is very little practical use to this script", he says. His script is easy to use and requires only minor editing skills.

Hotshotmike's download also allows you to operate the doors of the MV-22 Osprey, using nothing more than your in-game action menu. Again the advantage is merely cosmetic. But who has ever objected to some more eye candy?
