Mar

2008

This might be one of those days you are looking forward to, the next two Golden Oldies will be made available to you! We have two more shining Operation Flashpoint missions ready for immediate play, don't forget to read the extensive review that describes many of the mission elements. Even those playing Mandoble's excellent Missile Suite should spare some time to play or replay these old missions which got a lot of respect in the past. Deep Water and Realistic Combat Patrol will certainly keep you busy for a while.

Golden Oldies

Deep Water by The-Architect. Score: 8. Tagline: A US Senator's son has been kidnapped by terrorists and taken to a safehouse on the island of Everon. The president has authorised the use of force to get him back and your SEAL team has been chosen to do the job.

Realistic Combat Patrol by General Barron. Score: 8. Tagline: Think you know how to lead a squad? Think again! Try your hand at commanding a squad the REAL way: using hand signals and verbal communication! Sound hard? Tough luck! Your Marines are counting on your leadership--do not let them down...

These two missions both have something special to offer. General Barron's uses the hand signals addon which allows you to command your squad with hand signals and verbal communication. Get rid of the radio and do it the old fashioned way! In Deep Water, a team of SEALS is directed to a hostage situation. A good ambience is present in this Special Forces mission. When you've completed both missions and are looking for more. Be sure to check the Missions Depot for more attractive missions ready for download!
