Hey dudes, cant we have a Modder's category, you know, discuss ideas for mods, discuss current Mods, etc etc

It would probably be used a fair bit!

YOU WHAT?! There hosting Mods for hells sake and a Mod is simply the missions depot, the addons depot and the scripting depot all in one! NOTHING ELSE!!! They have addons and scripts from Mods eg Coc demo, combat divers, Invasion 1944 demo

SO WHY NOT?

Calm down...

As long as OFPEC choose to not allow MOD discussion you just have to live with it...or do things like this and shout and stuff and maybe get a ban, and then you have to live without OFPEC...So, just ask nicely...and take a no as a no... ;)(although you haven't realy got a "no" yet...since LCD ain't staff :P)

You've answered your own question, sniper_guy.
Why create another board/category when we already have 3 applicable boards there already?

Another reason is that mods usually have their own sites and their own forums, where they can break down the categories within their own mod.
To do so here is unpractical, as we either have to create another board that gets multiple threads per mod (see reason 1), or we create another category, and create a new board for each mod which is a very large drain on resources.

Why not just create your own site & forums, wouldn't that be easier, and allow more freedom in how you want your mod to discuss things (especially in private)?

Worth thinking about.
