Respawning Clearification
« on: 22 May 2003, 16:42:37 »
I know about the following respawn types, and how to use them.
The last one, Side, baffles me. It acts exactly like group. Is there a difference, or is it in there just for flavor?

None - No Respawning
Bird - Respawn as Seagull (Default)
Instant - Respawn at last location (new unit)
Base - Respawn at side's base marker (new unit)
Group - Respawn as another member of same group
Side - ?????

Hey Manvin  :)

"Side" simply allows you to respawn as a soldier of the same side, regardless of which group it's attached to.
I believe "Group" puts you as the next highest ranking officer in your group where side would be the next highest ranking officer..period.
