Mission reviews ake to long.

Hello,

The mission reviews take far to long to be of any use to the creator.
There are mission awaiting review since april 2002!
The creators could be stopped editing when their review finally comes through.
You are the nr 1 OFP editing site, and people value your opinion regarding their submitted missions.
I have 11 missions pending for review, and i was hoping for some feedback during the submits so i could create even better missions, but i got none.
I stopped editing for OFP at this time , but i still check your site regularly to see if my mission got reviewed so i at least i know how i did.
I know this cant be the goal of the reviews!!
I believed you reviewed the missions the give the creators some feedback on how to create better missions.
The way things are now with the super long review times that goal is not met.
Maybe if thinks work out and i get some feedback (positive or negative) on my missions someday  it will make me enthousiastic enough again to use the info and make even better missions.

If its feedback on missions you want, why not post them (assuming they are not finished) in the beta testing forum?

Reviews are as much for the benefit of the players who might want to download the mission as the author.

OFPEC has very high standards for reviewers, and will not compromise them simply to speed up the process.     Having said that, of courese we all wish that reviews happened faster.  The reviewers are doing the best they can.

Rob I feel your pain. I have missions pending as well, but I can tell you straight up it's gonna take a long time before those TOW Episodes of yours will be reviewed.

Right now there's about 50 missions to be reviewed before we can touch yours, since we review missions in the order they were submitted - oldest first.

I feel we have a slight shortage on active reviewers, but at the moment we review more than there are submissions, so the situation should be in control after some time.
Reviewing MP missions (like your missions) can be slower than reviewing single missions due to simply the fact that it needs more people working on it.

I do apologize for the long waits but since the pending list is so over crowded there's nothing we can do but to review from the oldest, doing the best we can as magcuba said, and wait.

You'd have to IM Anmac about that..

Before you start flooding Anmac with possible spam, consider if you really want to apply, and are you

• At least 18 years of age
• Have some knowledge of the editing side in OFP
• Are willing to download and install addons needed for a mission you'd be reviewing.

Also, know that you should be able to do about 1 mission / week. Now that's not mandatory because we all have our lives to live, but that's the ideal paste to review.

(Note that OFPEC policy is that all staff members must be at least 18 years old.    This has been carefully considered and is not going to change anytime soon.   If you'd like to know more, search the forums - it has been discussed many times.)
