LOOKOUT!!!

I have set up an M2 MG on my map and i want to give the gunner a 'spotter'....I have an officer in the gunner's group and have stripped him of all his weapons leaving him with only binoc's....I have got him to stay where i want him to but how do i get him to keep lookout with his binoc's??

I have his behaviour set to AWARE but that does not do the trick :help:

You cant have spotters for any amrour unless the creator scripted it! Sorry!

You could try using a switchmove/playmove animation.   I don't know if that actually makes him look through the binocs, but it will make him look as if he is.

Check the tute in the Ed Depot and search the FAQ and forum to find out which is the best animation to use.

aye. Do what the ever lovely macguba there said and combine it with the
Quote
group reveal unit

    group: Object or Group
    unit: Object
Type of returned value:
    Nothing
Description:
    Reveal unit to group, do not care if it can know about it or not.

Example:
    soldierOne reveal soldierTwo
command and you shoul have a pretty goodlooking fake spotter which actually fake spots something when you want him to.  ;D
