AEOmisc (vietnam addon)

My first addon will be released soon  ;D
It's a set of misc objects for Vietnam/jungle area. It should not be more large as 3.5 Mo
Features :

- 3 retextured ruins


- 1 retextured watching tower (good camouflage for Ia Trang vegetation type)


- 2 huts, same models and textures as those in sebnampack2 (thx to SEB team)...

...but you could burn them


-1 mystic temple (little surprise incorporated   )

I can't wait to get this addon.  It will be a must for any Vietnam mission.  Im still waiting to see if anyone can come up with a rice paddy.

Cool, I'll be downloading this once I get home from work, all that's missing now a big wicker baskets full of rice to kick over before you torch the village

It compliments the SEB NAM pack well.  :thumbsup:

The option to torch the village huts is cool, probably use it in a cut scene though. The Mystic Temple reminds me of something out of Indiana Jones lol
I also like the propoganda/ graffiti on the ruins  ;D

However im just having a little trouble placing AI units in to the
 watchtower, any ideas the best way to do this?

some little wooden bridges where you can croos on foot and a big one where you can pass on vehicle + a temple would make it complete m8 nice work

How can i use it with WRPEdit?

Aeon I can't blow up the huts.  I place 3 charges in one and blew it, but the hut is still there untouched.

that's true, I forgot to try to fix that   but if I could I won't because it's a too minor tweak to justify a 1.1 version. sorry

I can agree with that...how about when and if you do decide to redo the addon add a old wall section so we can do a layout of what the temple might have looked like or even a floor section.  Your temple sounds are wild.

well...in fact this is just retextured object (I don't know anything about 3D), so because of the cross I didn't call it buddhist temple but just "mystic"

As to bridges, some really awesome vehicle + foot bridges were made with the Mekong island.. anyone have that?  Awesome island... 26mb of goodness.
