cant even get a simple script to work !!!

Hello old friends, ive been off gamming for about 3yrs. Cant get triggers to run scripts in amra2 ultimate military simulator and AO , I don’t have CO. also put AO addons in amra 2 UML and cant play any user mission, always get bla bla cant load something has been deleted,,,, cheers Schuler

amra2 ultimate military simulator and AO , I don’t have CO.

Having Arma2 and OA installed makes it CO so do not move any of the game files criss-cross..

When you have Arma2 installed and you install OA it should automatically combine itself with Arma2 (install into Arma2 directory). Then when you launch the game from the OA shortcut all the Arma2 stuff is available within OA thus making it CO.



As for the script, camCreate no longer works on anything else than cameras (for cutscenes) so you have to use createVehicle.
Or if, to my understanding, using this in MP createVehicleLocal..

Well h- you answer one question I didn’t ask. Might be time for this old boy to to be put out to pasture as far mission making goes and stick with beta testing LOL. may there be a list of these changes

I doubt you have to do that, I mean all the mission making basics are the same, there's like one or two of these kind of changes.
There's also BIS made functions available in the editor, we have some of them listed.

There's a lot of new scripting commands as well, but of course you may never even need them, it depends on how much scripting you would wanna do.
