Clothing colour?
« on: 12 Oct 2011, 14:06:47 »
I've had a bit of a search but cannot find anything about this, and there don't appear to be any related commands in the COMREF.

Each time I place certain units (civilians mainly) their clothes are a different colour. How can I control this?

setObjectTexture

The command in question works on a lot of the OA civilians/militia-type OPFOR/Independent units via an init eventhandler in their configs. I'm not entirely sure what the name for all of the possible combinations are, but that's what pbo-openers are for! Go forth and explore.

To stop it, find the name of one of the textures that you lik, and just setObjectTexture it yourself (or give them crazy-cool neon-green jackets for the heck of it).

Wolfrug out.

Aha - I thought you could only do that to tanks to get your clan decals on the side. Interesting.

Many thanks.  :good:
