Ambient sound config for specific World?
« on: 13 Jul 2010, 15:27:24 »
Hey all,

I posted this topic on the BIS forums as well, so forgive me if it seems like spamming.

I am having a problem in which two seperate Ambient Sound configs are not getting on with each other when I load them with ArmA 2.
This is because they both require the use of "CASounds" in ArmA2 but they have seperate purposes.

Pbo1 is

Quote
Desertworld_sounds.pbo
Pbo2 is

Quote
Europeworld_sounds.pbo

However for some reason I only seem to hear one PBO all the time when I am using ArmA 2 despite what Island I am using.

I have tried using Required Addons parameter but that did not help.

--------------------

So I need to ask you all if there is a solution for getting a specific sound pbo to load and activate when a certain island is being used. Or is this not possible with a config?

Thanks

Thanks loosebruce. Missed your earlier post.

I am not sure if it is possible to define them per world.
Maybe one is limited to one global definition. I need to ask Elias this.
He did a lot of testing try to achieve that.

That said here is a well formatted and fixed config by yours.
At least the weather sounds you can define per world.
