Red Targets On Radar

Ok, i have an air battle between resistance (set to friendly with east) and the west. Both side have F-14 Tomcats (Addon). The resistance can lock on to the west and they show up red on radar, but for west it shows up as green and you can't lock on. Is there anything i can do to make resistance show up as enemy? This is on V 1.85
